As Founder and Managing Director of AWS, Neville Cornish has added another qualification to his belt, ensuring we are uniquely positioned in the Australian welding industry.

Neville recently became approved as a Canadian Welding Bureau Approved Professional Engineer. He is the only person in Australia to hold this qualification, so is the man to speak to if you want to get involved with the Canadian welding industry, or supply welded items to Canada.

In Canada they have a rigorous qualification procedure that ensures all welded items in the country (even items manufactured overseas) comply to their high standards.

This achievement was made possibly by Gekko Systems based in Ballarat, who have been awarded a major contract with TMAC Resources Inc, to design and build two surface modular Python plants followed by a concrete treatment plant in Hope Bay, Canada.

Neville and the AWS team are pleased as punch to work with Gekko on this project, as together we will produce great work that will be admired internationally.
